While the article has definite merits, I have to agree with Carol, I did find that I was concentrating on the reader's pronounciation of certain words and waiting for the next time she dropped the 'g'. That aside - habit 6 - using technology to my advantage is very difficult for me. I am concerned that this course will have me very confused. It does so far and I am only on week 2 but at least I am not finding it scary and that is progress for me. I am not technically inclined so I do find new technology a bit overwhelming at times. I am thankful for the time to play and have fun with this new (to me) technology and I do look forward to becoming more comfortable using it and hopefully being able to show others (in some limited way) what I have learned

I feel much like you do. I found it intimidating and confusing. Although I don't think I will use all of the technologies after we are done, I know it will be useful when assisting others and nice not feel in the dark. Good luck!
